Function:
This position is designed to support the operations of the Lancaster Corps and Samaritan Center for Adult Day Services in the area of financial information processing. This individual is responsible for the support of the fiscal operations of The Salvation Army in Lancaster, OH.
Responsibilities.Qualifications
1. Two or more years in bookkeeping and office management experience.2. Formal academic training in bookkeeping and/or accounting (Associates degree or above preferred)3. Dependable4. Able to maintain confidentiality of Salvation Army information both inside and outside of the office5. Experience in working with Microsoft suite, specifically in Excel.6. Knowledge of computerized accounting software and basic accounting functions7. Excellent oral and written communication skills8. Detail-Orientated9. Must complete and pass The Salvation Army's Statement for working with children10. Must pass background check.11. Ability to work with limited supervision to complete tasks in a timely and orderly fashion

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
